Sri Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Chitrada is a sacred abode consecrated under the divine guidance of Sri Narayanadatta Swami of Sri Narayana Datta Peetam. The presiding deity, Sri Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, is a self-manifested (Swayambhu) form of the Lord — one of the most powerful and auspicious aspects of Maha Vishnu.

The Sri Narayana Datta Peetam was established by Sri Narayanadatta Swami with a vision to revive ancient Vedic traditions while addressing the spiritual and social needs of modern devotees. The Peetam is guided by the principle of Nava Vidha Bhakti — the nine paths of devotion that lead to liberation and inner peace.

Morning darshan is from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The temple closes for afternoon rest from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Evening darshan is from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by the night Ekanta Seva till 9:30 PM. Timings may vary on festival days and special occasions.

Swamiji teaches that all nine paths lead to liberation.
